What we offer
Calgarth Park has a strong sense of community. Whether you’re enjoying one of our optional weekday lunches in the dining room, or taking part in the evening crossword challenge in the lounge, you’ll have a great opportunity to enjoy the company of your fellow residents and will be sure to feel part of something from Day One.
What sets us apart
If you’re into the great outdoors, then it’s right on your doorstep. If you enjoy gardening, then you’ll love the beauty of our outdoor space and will be welcome to get involved in helping take care of our beautiful grounds and large greenhouse.
Should the indoors play a more important role for you, then we can offer you a range of opportunities and activities for you to enjoy such as Crossword challenges, Poetry group and film nights.
Our apartments are set within an historic building with many of the original features and many have beautiful views of the gardens and Lake Windermere. To provide a feeling of security, a personal care alarm service is available if you need it and tasty two course lunches which are available at a reasonable additional charge.
A community that feels natural
Life at Calgarth Park is shaped by the people who live here. From cooked lunches which are optional and informal activities, to everyday conversations in the lounge or gardens, a sense of community grows naturally — without obligation, and always at your own pace.
